Best of Winners and Winners Dog for 4-Point Major and NEW CHAMPION!
JoJo sired two litters, an accidental breeding with Callie and a planned breeding with Annie. Subsequently, JoJo was diagnosed with a transient innocent murmur at the age of 2 1/2 years. He was halfway to his grand championship. After getting a second opinion at the University of Florida Small Animal Hospital, JoJo was neutered. JoJo now has a wonderful life with Shirley in Lakeland, FL. He comes to visit frequently.
Tilly had a premature litter with only one surviving puppy (Penny). Subsequently, she was diagnosed with luxating patellas. She was spayed and ownership was transferred to her guardian, Valarie, in Fleming Island. She lives with two Cavaliers (tricolor Archie and Blenheim Emma) from Callie and Ringo.
Libbie was diagnosed with moderate hip dysplasia at the age of two years and was spayed. At four years of age, she decided she wanted to go home with one of Callie and Ringo's puppies, Mack. Libbie and Mack lived with Hussam and Hailey in Miami for several years until they relocated to Canada.
Lacey was my third Cavalier. She and Bear had two litters of puppies. She was diagnosed with mild hip dysplasia and spayed. She has a good life now with Jessica and her family. Jessica is the daughter of JoJo's owner. So Lacey and JoJo get to see each other frequently.
Bear was my second Cavalier. He filled my heart after the loss of King Bailey at 9 months old. Bear had two litters of puppies with Lacey. Subsequently, he was diagnosed with mild hip dysplasia and neutered. Bear went to live with a veterinarian's family. Not long after, he escaped the back fence and was killed by a car.
King Bailey was my very first Cavalier. He was an unexpected gift. I had recently retired, relocated to Jacksonville, Florida, and was considering the purchase of a Cavalier. He wasn't AKC registered, so I had no plans to breed him. I never knew the space he occupied in my heart until he was killed by a car at the age of 9 months. His close friend, my Golden Retriever, Buddy, never recovered from the loss and refused to accept the new Cavaliers (Bear and Lacey). I decided I would not acquire any more Cavaliers as long as Buddy was alive.
